Jamie Gibbards

Jamie graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. She has worked in a range of areas since graduation, including Private Practice, Sports, Hospital, Paediatrics, Clinical Pilates and Women’s Health.

In addition to this, she has also worked as a Clinical Educator and Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland for several years.

Jamie enjoys treating a variety of injuries, with a special interest in lower back, neck and hip pain, as well as antenatal and postnatal women’s health patients. She believes the best outcomes occur when patients make a committed approach to their treatment and remain as active and functional as possible throughout.

Jamie also has a background in Fitness Instructing, having gained a Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness. She incorporates some of these skills into her physiotherapy practice and believes that exercise plays a vital role in rehabilitation. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys going to the gym, and spending time with her 2 young daughters.
