Kirstin Scott

Senior Physiotherapist/Clinical Lead

Kirstin completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University in 2019.  She began her career with Queensland Physiotherapy in 2017 as a Sports Trainer for various sporting teams, and then in 2020 started her role as a Physiotherapist in the clinic.  She has continued to work alongside multiple sporting teams as she has maintained a passion for treating athletes during various stages of injury rehabilitation.

In addition to treating athletes, Kirstin also has a strong interest in treating disorders of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), ankle injuries and lower back pain.  She has a passion for using a combined approach of hands-on and exercise-based therapy to achieve holistic, long-term benefits.  Kirstin enjoys treating all conditions across the lifespan, and is always keen on expanding her knowledge, which is reflected in the additional training she has completed over the years as part of her professional development.  This includes Pilates-based exercises with and without the use of reformers, which she incorporates in both individual and group settings.

Beyond her work in physiotherapy, Kirstin maintains an active lifestyle, participating in a range of sports such as netball, Oztag, and gym workouts, highlighting her commitment to physical fitness.  Her diverse athletic background significantly influences her understanding of the body’s mechanics and the impact of sports-related injuries. As a result, Kirstin values the significance of sports in people’s lives and is devoted to getting them back to doing what they love at the earliest opportunity.
