Catherine Dunne

Physiotherapist

Catherine completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at The University of Queensland at the end of 2022. She has previously had experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy through both university placements and working part time during the initial months of her graduate year at a clinic just north of Brisbane. Before studying physiotherapy, Catherine had never personally been treated by a physiotherapist, but was witness to the positive impacts it had on close friends and family during their most vulnerable times.

To have the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s pain or disability, utilising a wide range of tools, reassured her that physiotherapy was the perfect match. Currently she is intrigued by any and all things physio-related, with a particular interest developing in the shoulder, despite its complexity.

Utilising both manual therapy techniques and exercise, Catherine is passionate about seeing her patients achieve their goals. Unfortunately, or fortunately (depending on the season), Catherine is a diehard Brisbane Broncos fan and is always down to chat about the footy. Outside of the clinic you will find her hanging out with friends and family, keeping active at the gym/outdoors or watching football.

Additional Training:

  • Level 1 Reformer and Matwork Pilates Course
  • Level 1 & 2 Neuromuscular Dry Needling
